In today’s business environment, email has replaced virtually every other form of human communication as the primary method for delivering information.
This flood of email communication makes it increasingly difficult for any individual message to get the attention its author hopes for – so many email senders compensate by pushing out more email, including reminders and “ticklers” to encourage people to read previous messages.
As email volume increases exponentially every year, it is critical that we develop effective practices to manage the number of emails we deal with, and also to manage the impact of the messages we are sending.
